XRP Price Drops As 1B XRP Tokens Are Released from Escrow

In two separate transactions totaling 400 million and 100 million, Ripple has released 500 million XRP from “Ripple (27),” another 500 million XRP from “Ripple (26).” As usual with these locks, the firm is not suddenly flooding the market with all the tokens as this would affect the XRP price. Ripple instead plans to re-lock the remaining XRP back in escrow to be used in the future and set aside just 20–25% of the unlocked XRP for market sales, strategic alliances, and transactions with institutional buyers. 

Recently, XRP price has dropped dramatically due to worries about the abrupt token flood into the market. Over seven days, the XRP price dropped more than 17%. Since 2017, Ripple has had an XRP supply control system in place. 

One billion XRP tokens are unveiled from the vault on the first day of every month. Still, the majority of these tokens are not offered straight onto the market. Rather, Ripple often sells a tiny fraction—usually 20% to 25%—to cover running expenses, keeping the remaining tokens re-locked into escrow to be released in next months.  

Cardano News: ADA Eyes a 40% Breakout Toward $1.04

The most recent Cardano news claims that ADA is building an ascending triangle with opposition close to $0.84. Based on the height of the triangle, a strong breakout may drive its price toward $1.04, a 40% upside change. 

Another Cardano news report indicates that ADA’s RSI has also recovered from oversold circumstances, implying possible buying activity at present levels. The 50-day EMA at $0.88 and the 200-day EMA at $0.95 object to it, though. A close above these moving averages would confirm the optimistic breakthrough scenario even further.
