To the surprise of various community members, the Shiba Inu team has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated ShibaCon conference. Originally, scheduled to take place on November 9, the Shiba Inu team has decided to reschedule the ShibaCon conference till further notice, leaving many in the community wondering what prompted the sudden change. 

ShibaCon Conference Delayed

On October 14, the Shiba Inu team released a statement via its official SHIB social media account on X (formerly Twitter). According to the team, the ShibaCon conference, which was scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, four days after the US Presidential elections on November 5, has been indefinitely postponed. 

The news which was dropped just three weeks before the conference has left many in the Shiba Inu community guessing what may have caused the unexpected change of plans. While not going into the full details behind the ShibaCon delay, the Shiba Inu team has clarified that the reason for the postponement was made to ensure the event would deliver a more favorable and exciting experience for participants. 

While the delay could have been disappointing for those who had been eager to attend, the Shiba Inu team are optimistic that the postponement was the best decision made to allow them to create a ShibaCon that surpasses expectations, bringing together Web3 pioneers, developers and the ShibArmy.
