Looking to extend its lead ahead of rival AI developers and calm fears of data loss, OpenAI—the creator of ChatGPT—launched ChatGPT Enterprise on Monday. OpenAI says the corporate version of ChatGPT offers enterprise-grade security, privacy, and a faster GPT-4 experience.
“Today marks another step towards an AI assistant for work that helps with any task, is customized for your organization, and that protects your company data,” OpenAI said in a post announcing the launch.
The news of the launch comes as AI chatbots are becoming more and more commonplace in the workplace and at home.
OpenAI claims that ChatGPT Enterprise has no usage caps and runs up to two times faster than the base ChatGPT product. The enterprise version, OpenAI says, also includes unlimited access to GPT-4, released in March, as well as advanced analytics and free API credits.
ChatGPT Enterprise: the beginning of the end of many B2B thin wrapper startups.
Finally addresses the data privacy (“no training” commitment) and security issues. Extra goodies are long context (32k), 2x faster inference, and Code Interpreter.
I bet the App Store will be next… pic.twitter.com/ZIgChV3iJa
