The Mainnet launch marks a major milestone in its mission to revolutionize the decentralized order book trading. DeGate delivers a CEX-like trading experience: order book trading, zero or very low fees, fast. At the same time, users have full self-custody over their assets.
The Journey Through Mainnet Beta
The Mainnet Beta phase was pivotal for DeGate, focusing on stress testing the DEX to ensure maximum security for user funds. This phase was crucial for ensuring the utmost security for our users’ funds, capped with a Total Value Locked (TVL) limit of $3 million.

With the transition to Mainnet, DeGate now offers a decentralized DEX with advanced CEX features like limit order, grid trading, Dollar-Cost-Average, and a focus on ETH trading. These features enable trading on DeGate DEX with comparable speed and cost efficiency to CEXs but without the risks associated with a central authority.
The classic order book approach ensures every order has an equal chance of being executed, unlike some other platforms where small orders may not get filled. Additionally, DeGate boasts strong liquidity for spot trading of ETH and major ERC20 tokens like LINK, GRT, RNDR, and others. The liquidity is continuously improving.
Low Fees
Leveraging Zero-Knowledge Rollup, DeGate is able to keep the fees low. For Makers, there are no fees, including no trading fee or gas fee; for Takers, gas fees are significantly reduced thanks to DeGate’s Efficient Gas Saving Technology, which bundles multiple transactions to improve trading efficiency and reduce costs.
