Binance Coin bounces off resistance with exchange traffic flat
The Binance Coin price is flat this week after dramatically underperforming the market this month. Binance Coin is up less than 2% for the week and only 7% for the month.
Binance Coin has been languishing around the $600 mark since early 2024 when its rally ran out of steam. The growing bull cycle pushed Binance Coin up to $650, but the rally reversed at this resistance point.
The bull cycle will need to be in full swing before the additional exchange traffic pushes the Binance Coin price through this resistance point.
Solana slows as easy Layer 1 blockchain growth disappears
The Solana price also spent much of 2024 languishing around an anchor before the recent bull cycle finally sent it higher. Solana broke from its $150 anchor this month and soared to over $250.
However, Solana has taken most of the easy market share for Layer 1 blockchains and now faces the reigning king, Ethereum, for the top spot.
Whales are choosing to move on to easier gains rather than the steady but slow growth projected for Solana in 2025.
