Ben Armstrong, who used to be better known as BitBoy, has opened up about his personal life on X.com by tagging both his wife and mistress.
Public Admission
Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, formerly known as BitBoy, has taken to X.com to reveal his personal life turmoil, acknowledging his affair and impending divorce. In a candid thread on X.com, Ben Armstrong openly discussed his personal life, owning up to his affair with Cassandra Wolfe and the impending divorce with his wife, Bethany Armstrong. He unambiguously tagged both women in his tweet, making his personal issues very public.
Armstrong, who was embroiled in controversy, lost his YouTube channel and social media presence after accusations of drug use and an affair.
BitBoy’s Fall from Grace
Armstrong’s journey took a significant downturn when the Hit Network, a company he co-founded, revoked his YouTube channel and social media accounts over accusations of drug use and infidelity. Late on August 31, BitBoy Crypto’s official YouTube channel, boasting 1.42 million subscribers, announced Armstrong’s departure. Stripped of his BitBoy persona, he rebranded as Ben, but not without encountering challenges. He acquired the rights to the $BEN coin, which ultimately proved to be a spectacular failure.
In a video posted on the BitBoy YouTube channel in September, Armstrong admitted to his affair and apologized to his wife. However, this was just the beginning of his efforts to regain his footing.
Donation Controversy
Armstrong’s quest for redemption took an unexpected turn as he began soliciting donations via livestream on social media platforms. He claimed that he was under a lot of duress and needed “legal funds” to rebuild. To date, he has amassed over $80,000 from his followers through donations to his addresses for Bitcoin, Cardano, and Ethereum.
Although he has called this money the “legal fund,” the fact that he could not stop talking about his Lamborghini Huracan Performante, which was confiscated by Hit Network, and that he claimed that the funds would not be returned to donors in any way, has raised concerns among his supporters
