On Thursday, the BNB Chain released a 17-second video on Twitter, teasing a Layer 2 solution. While many details are not yet shared, the announcement is expected on June 19.

The announcement has driven speculation within the community about the release. Some expect BNB to release its zero-knowledge proof solution similar to Ethereum zkEVM (zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine). While others are expecting an airdrop.
